Salon Boutique Academy offers expert training in Cosmetology. With our focus on hands-on experience, you’ll gain the knowledge and confidence to pass the Texas State Board Cosmetology Licensing Exam. More importantly, you’ll acquire the skills and expertise to work in a professional salon.
Courses in cosmetology require 1,000 hours, which can take approximately 8 to 16 months to complete, based on your selected class schedule.
Course Description
In addition to color, cut and hairstyles, you’ll be immersed in the best theories and practices of cosmetology:

Class Format and Instruction
Classes start in the classroom, and then are refined through a mixture of clinic activities. These include mannequin work, model days and client services under the support and coaching of our instructors. Hands-on experience qualifies you for independent work in cosmetology.
Convenient Class Schedules
Salon Boutique Academy offers cosmetology training with full-time and part-time schedules as well as day and evening programs. Maintain your work schedule and social life during your education!

• Day Classes – 4 days/week (8am to 4:30pm)
Cosmetology Program Curriculum
Haircare: haircutting, styling, coloring, chemical textures, related theory, business skills, professional development, salon management, health, safety and laws – 800 hrs
Nail care: manicuring and related theory, business skills, professional development, health, safety and laws – 100 hrs
Skin care: facials, hair removal, related theory and application, business skills, professional development and salon management, health, safety and laws – 200 hrs
