BOCA RATON, Florida – Over 200 non-degree skill programs in Healthcare are easy to find at the new free site Founded by a former university executive, the free online service highlights more than 2,000 schools offering over 6,000 legitimate faster and cheaper alternative programs in eight career categories. Like those for Healthcare, each program is designed to lead to a specific job and a well-paying career.

“I spent six years as chairman and CEO of an accredited degree-granting university. Our very best students were in their mid-30s, people serious about jobs and careers,” said founder Joseph Schmoke. These adults were interested in adding skills that were valuable in the eyes of employers. This experience made quite an impression, and after reading Ryan Craig’s book, A New U: Faster & Cheaper Alternatives to College (BenBella Books, 2018), I decided to follow Ryan’s lead and create something that aided adults in their search for a rewarding job and satisfying career.”

The database central to the site’s value to users was developed over eighteen months as schools and programs were examined, included in the site, or dismissed. The researchers’ focus was on eight in-demand career categories, including Arts, Business, Cannabis, Cosmetology, Healthcare, Legal, Mechanical and Technology. This work resulted in the largest, most comprehensive source of non-degree skill programs in the US.

Programs in the Healthcare category are designed to result in real jobs. Examples include Cardio Tech (average base salary $55,034), Phlebotomy Tech ($38,674), and Medical Assistant ($37,699), all per Glassdoor data. There are many more Healthcare programs that will interest career-changers and those who want to move up the ladder in their current health industry career.

The site is free. Favorites (paid ads for schools or programs) are taboo, and there’s no harassment from so-called advisers. Take a look now
